Today it has been confirmed that David Moyes has been sacked as Manchester United manager with almost a full season under his belt. Questions were asked when Sir Alex ferguson appointed David after announcing his retirement at the of last season. Moyes managed to get United through to the quarter finals of the UEFA champions league although an easy route but the records he has broken in the league has had the fans turning on him for months.

Like most clubs the loyal fans have stuck by David Moyes and showed support as this league winning team under fergie hasn’t made much of an impact this season. As the season went from bad to worse we take a look at not just the players performance but what is going on behind the scenes, are players not happy with the way training is taken, David’s tactics on game days or the fact that he has started with a different squad every game of the season. We know you need to find your best solution but if a team wins one week you do not change it the next unless injuries happen.

On the clubs website a statement has been issued.

Manchester United has announced that David Moyes has left the Club.

The Club would like to place on record its thanks for the hard work, honesty and integrity he brought to the role.

Here at Sports King there are mixed emotions as you have to feel for Moyes, ferries boots are very big to fill, United should have got him under fergies wing for a couple of seasons and learnt the united way, changing all the back room staff and putting his team together was a disaster waiting to happen. Manchester United are as much to blame as Moyes as they should only replace broken parts.

If you take a look at what Martinez has achieved with Everton this season com pair to the last 8 of David Moyes it speaks volume as to whether his is the right man for the job.

Sources close to the club have Indicated that German Manager Klopp is key to take over at Old Trafford in the summer but who will fill in for the last few games? Ryan Giggs might step in or will fergie take over? Only time will tell.

Ryan Giggs will step in for the final games of the season. In Giggs You Trust
